Using SearchBug is easy and we have tools for everyone who needs to search for people or companies, find particular details about the subject or verify information that you already have. Account Types

Business Account

This account type is suited for those who are performing a significant number of skip tracing, application verifications and other investigation and fraud prevention activities. A designated administrator from your company can manage multiple user accounts, billing info and run detailed usage reports using our online tools.

Business account is designed for efficiencies and cost control. There are significant discounts available for businesses (see Payment Plans below) that can drive the cost of the search to $0.15 per found unpublished record. If you consider free directory results, the cost is just few cents. There is no more need to jump between free sites and the ones that give low rates but charge for all searches.

Professionals in financial services, collections, insurance and other industries may apply and once verified will be granted access to additional regulated data sources not available for general public.

Personal Account

If you are looking for a cost effective way to find relatives or lost friends this account type is for you. Just like with the business account, there is no fee for data found in online White Pages. You only pay for unpublished premium data. Even then you will be able to preview the results before paying. When you have one-day projects like sending out reunion invitations, make sure to take advantage of our 24-hour pass that gives you virtually unlimited access to free and premium people data. Opening an account will also block all the ads on SearchBug for you.

No Account

Account is not required to use most of SearchBug popular features. You still can run free people search, verify phone numbers and pay for premium services with a credit card or PayPal. You need to be a member to buy unlimited access or limited passes to some of the tools.

Payment Plans

Prepaid Plans

SearchBug Prepaid Plans simplify billing and give you full control over discounts you receive. When you sign up we will charge your credit card the amount that you select. Your account balance will be used for all orders requiring a payment. If the balance runs low, we will charge your credit card for the same amount again. The balance never expires and can be adjusted. With a business account, all company users can share the same prepaid balance. Detailed usage and billing reports as well as invoices for all charges are available online. And remember ... the more you prepay, the bigger the discount is (see table below).

Pay As You Go Plan

If you are new to SearchBug or not sure if you will be using our pay services frequently, you can select Pay As You Go option. In this scenario, your credit card will be charged a regular price for each transaction. Pay As You Go Plan is not available for business accounts.

Paying with No Account

If choose not to open an account, you will still be able to pay for individual orders with a credit card or PayPal. The exceptions are unlimited packages (e.g., free people search, phone tools) and 24 hr people search pass that require SearchBug account.
